Yep, not enough mommy guilt, so I added more

Scuffed nose courtesy of mommy. On Tuesday Quinners ran out in front of me, while trying to NOT fall on her, I grabbed her back. In the process flipped her legs out from under her, and voila - face met pavement. No hands to protect her either. She had a two nostril bleeding nose, and now is sporting a scrape.

Yep, not enough guilt on a daily basis - gotta add more with some blood and scabs.

Good thing no school photos are coming up soon.

I recommend that you tell everyone that she got in a bar fight

Oh Dear, don't feel too bad, at least you didn't break her nose. Now that's a story you wouldn't want to tell.

Ahh mommy guilt. I hear ya! Tune in today for my newest chapter on the subject.
At least she's smiling.

Poor thing! It's a good thing she's not a little bit older or she would be holding this over you.

She is so precious.

Ooooh...I did the same to Adam once.

He was pissed.

I remember when one of my sons wrote on his face with permanent marker and his school photo was to be taken the next day so I scrubbed his face raw and put vaseline on it because it was so raw and I could not wash out the vaseline that got into his hair so that year he has red blotches on his face and his hair looks greasy...

Then my daughter came home one day with gravel in her knew from falling and I called a DR and he said he would take a brush and try to get as much of the gravel out as he could so I tried it, except I used a plastic vegetable scrubbing brush and took most of the skin off in the process...we joke about it now but it took a long time to be able to even think about joking about it...talk about guilt.
